Tuesday, December 26, 2006:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts.  Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Paul Miliotis of Karnack, Tony Novak of Karnack, Shirley Shivers of Karnack, Henry Bradbury of Addison, Larry Wayne Schultz of Marshall, and Diane Jones of Jonesville.  

 

Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 28 F and the afternoon high was 49 F with sunny skies and almost no wind.
 

Number of Nets:  Fourteen (14)

 

Time:  We started putting up nets at 9:15 a.m. and all nets were closed by 5:00 p.m.
