Saturday, December 13, 2008:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities.  Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Doug & Judy Parker of Karnack, Phyllis Bailey of Karnack, Mitch Dinkle of Marshall, Mike Weber of Jefferson, Lindsay Slaten and son Brody of Longview, Ronald Hollomon of Jefferson, and Tony Novak of Karnack.


Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 40 F and the afternoon high was 57 F.  It was cloudy and windy; wind was from the south.

Number of Nets:  Twelve (12)


Time:  We started putting up nets at 9:00 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:15 p.m.
