Saturday, November 13, 2004:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding efforts.  Other participants included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Tony Novak of Uncertain, Ron Munden of Marshall, and Dorothy Metzler of Longview. 

 

Location:  The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).

 

Weather Conditions:  Cloudy all morning and mostly clear and sunny all afternoon.  The morning low temperature was 51 F, and the afternoon high was 56 F with a light breeze.
 

Number of Nets:  Thirteen (13) 

 

Time:  Nets were set up between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and were closed by 3:30 p.m.

Location:  The banding activities took place just west of Caddo Lake in Marion County on Boots Walker Road (near Jefferson, Texas).

 

Weather Conditions:  Cloudy all morning and partly cloudy in the afternoon with 15-20 mph winds most of the day.  The morning low temperature was 55 F, and the afternoon high was 58 F.
 

Number of Nets:  Thirteen (13) 

 

Time:  Nets were set up between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and were closed by 4:00 p.m.
