Saturday, November 3, 2007:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities.  Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson; Tony Novak of Karnack; Rick Lowerre of Austin; Linda Palmer of Rockwall; Jack & Marilyn Welch of Uncertain; Terry Nicholson of Lewisville; Chris Nicholson of Uncertain; Diane Jones of Jonesville; Linda Friar of Homestead, Florida; Chuck Barrows of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Mac Hobbs of Vivian, Louisiana.  

 

Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 51 F and the afternoon high was 68 F.  It was partly cloudy with no wind.

Number of Nets:  Thirteen (13)

 

Time:  We started putting up nets at 8:45 a.m. CDST and all nets were closed by 5:00 p.m. CDST.
