Saturday, November 24, 2012:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities.  Other participants and visitors included the host Tom Walker; Mary Keasler of Jefferson; Audrey & Kathy O’Campo of Denton; Charles Steger of Atlanta, TX; Carol Walliser of Edom; Robert Carter of Marshall; Jessica Soto ofCenter, TX; Anita Walker of Avinger; Jerry Walliser of Dallas; Vicki Aliff of Dallas; Sam Smith of Jefferson; Dan Clark of Dallas; Ron & Carolyn Bova of Quitman.
 

Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 31º F and the afternoon high was 53º F There was little to no wind.  The skies were partly cloudy.


Number of Nets:  Eleven (11)

 

Time:  We started setting up nets at 8:45 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:15 p.m.
